Red Pocket, 8 mm, 140 g
Our lightest flow rope. At 140 g it puts almost nothing through the shoulder while still carrying enough weight to tell you when the pattern is off.
Honest guidance on who it is for: this is usually a second rope, not a first one. Most adults learn faster on a 12 mm rope around 450 g, because the extra weight makes the figure 8 easier to feel. The Red Pocket earns its place afterwards, for speed work once your pattern is clean, for easy days, for travel, and for anyone who wants to move a rope without loading a shoulder or wrist.
- 8 mm diameter, 140 g, 245 cm between handles
- The lightest option in the range: minimal load at the shoulder
- Fast in the hand, which makes it the natural speed rope
- Packs down small, with a sustainable calico bag included
- Handmade in Melbourne, Australia, from marine-grade rope
If you are working around a shoulder or wrist that has a history, please talk to your physiotherapist first: we make movement tools, not medical advice. Our honest take is in rope flow and shoulder health, and customers describe their own experiences in what our customers say about wrists.

Best Feel Best Flow
It is hard to describe the perfect rope, it feels almost like weightless but so connected to your hands, it doesn't coil and looks good when going fast or slow

A large part of my rope collection is from winding ropes, I'm never disappointment in the feel, quality and how well these ropes age. Highly recommended.

Rarely am I so motivated to move, flow rope is equally fun as exercise. Rope is excellent quality.

I got two ropes, a rope a doe and a heavier 18mm rope. I've just started rope flow. I live in Taiwan and the ropes arrived within a week of ordering, so I was really happy with that. Also, I'm 6'2 (190cm) and the ropes are definitely long enough for me. (I got a Weck rope also-it's longer, but it's also stiffer.)
I started off with Weck's YouTube videos. Anyway, most important thing is I practice regularly. I can finally do the Dragon roll and the sneaks, and different versions of the matador. I started off using my orange rope doe and it's been great. Also, because I'm outdoors a lot, I use that one outdoors and keep my other one, when I use it, off the floor as much as possible. (One of the teachers I work with used to do rhythmic gymnastics, so I'm learning one or two tricks... or trying to learn one or two tricks from her. Hence my rope is on the floor a lot.) Anyway, really happy with my ropes.
I'm even thinking of ordering some heavier ones now that I've got a taste of rope flow.
I think my arms have gotten stronger, and while some of it may be my weight workout, I think rope flow has made a difference to the tone of my arms (making it better). I'm really happy with my ropes (which for the record are: California Orange Flow Rope 12 MM, and the KushChief Signature Premium Flow Rope 14 mm.)

A great variety or great quality ropes. The light one slices through the air so agreably, while the 1kg one is a perfect transition to the significantly trickier to handle 1.5kg one.
I purchased all my ropes here (except my first one), and it's the second time I purchase this particular package. And just a shout out to the customer service: one of the ropes was not the expected weight, but they were quick to fix the mistake and sent me the correct one on the next day!
