ABOUT OUR ROPES

Q: What are Winding Ropes?

Winding Ropes are handmade flow ropes and strength tools designed for rope flow training, rotational movement, and functional fitness. Every rope is hand-stitched and hand-finished in Australia by founder Pablo.

Q: How long are the ropes?

All our ropes are 245 cm between the handles - our standard length, designed to suit a wide range of body heights and training styles.

Tip: Step on the middle of the rope with one foot. Both handles should reach somewhere between your armpits and hips, depending on your preference.

Q: What rope sizes do you offer?

  • 12mm - Our lightest flow rope. Perfect for beginners. Great for learning patterns and building coordination.
  • 14mm - A step up in weight. Ideal for intermediate flow practitioners.
  • 16mm - Premium flow rope with more presence and feel.
  • Heavy Ropes (18mm–50mm) - For serious strength and flow work, including The Black Whale at 50mm / 4.5kg.

Q: Which rope is right for me?

If you are new to rope flow, start with the 12mm. It is the lightest and easiest to learn with. If you have been training for a while and want more resistance, move to 14mm or 16mm. For strength and power focus, explore our Heavy Ropes range.

Q: What are the ropes made of?

Most Ropes are made of high-quality double-braided polyester, some of them in the biggest models are made of nylon.

Q: What is the Pararope?

The Pararope is an original invention by Pablo, created in 2019. It features the world's largest Monkey Fist knot on a rope, making it the fastest mace you will ever train with. Designed for rotational throwing, rotational strength, and flow - bridging rope flow and mace training.

Q: Can I send a rope as a gift?

Absolutely! Our ropes make a genuinely unique gift. Place your order as normal and include a personal message in the order notes. We ship worldwide.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Q: Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We ship worldwide. Standard international shipping via Sendle takes 13–25 business days. Express international shipping via DHL takes 3–5 business days.

Q: How much does shipping cost?

  • Australia: Free shipping on all orders over $100.
  • International: For international orders rates are calculated at checkout based on order weight.

Q: How long will it take to receive my order?

Please allow up to 1 week for us to prepare and dispatch your order. Our ropes are all hand-stitched and hand-finished - most of the products are in stock at all times, but some products require finishing before they can be shipped.

Once dispatched:

  • Australia (Sendle): Standard domestic timeframes apply.
  • International Standard (Sendle): 13–25 business days.
  • International Express (DHL): 3–5 business days.

Q: How will my order be packaged?

Every order is packed in a compostable satchel with zero plastic. No pouch, no cardboard box - just your ropes in an eco-friendly mailer.

Q: How do I track my order?

Once dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a Track Order button. Click it to follow your delivery in real time.

Q: Can I change my shipping address after ordering?

Yes - as long as we haven't shipped yet. Contact us as soon as possible via the Contact page with your order number and the updated address.

Q: My order hasn't arrived - what do I do?

Contact us via the Contact page with your order number and we will investigate with the courier straight away.

ORDERS & PAYMENTS

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Union Pay, iDEAL, and Bancontact.

Q: A product I want is sold out. What can I do?

Some models sell out as we hand-finish ropes in batches. Check back in a couple of weeks, or contact us to ask about restock timing for your preferred model.

Q: Can I change or cancel my order?

Contact us as soon as possible via the Contact page. We'll do our best to accommodate your request before the order is dispatched.

Q: Do you offer wholesale or bulk discounts?

Send us an email to info@windingropes.com, and we are happy to make a deal for your bulk order.

TRAINING & LEARNING

Q: I'm completely new to rope flow. Where do I start?

Start with our free Rope Flow Tutorials page under Learn in the menu. The 12mm rope is the recommended starting point. You can also book a personal 1-on-1 session with Pablo via the Workshops page.

Q: Do you offer personal coaching?

Yes. Pablo offers 30-minute personal sessions via Facetime or Google Meet, in English or Spanish. Book directly from the Workshops page.

Q: Do you run in-person workshops?

Yes. Check the Workshops page for current availability and locations.

Q: Is there a free guide or ebook?

Yes - our free Rope Flow 101 ebook is available under Resources in the navigation menu.

Q: Do you have training videos online?

Yes. We have a YouTube channel with tutorials and movement breakdowns. Follow us on TikTok and Instagram for regular short-form content. Links are in the footer.
