Heavy Ropes Training

Heavy Flow Ropes. Rotational power training, Throw it! Swing it! Slam it!
Know the pendulum, use the momentum of the swing, don't resist it.

 Heavy Ropes Training

After you fall in love with rope flow, it's natural to ask yourself, how would this feel with a heavier rope?

That is what inspired me to create Winding Ropes, finding and offering heavy ropes that are soft and easy to roll, not like the typical battle ropes.

We love heavy ropes training because we consider it a “more honest” feedback, you can’t get away just using your hands, and you need to have an optimal integration between different parts of your body to achieve your goal, in this case, performing a pattern we have already learned with a lighter rope.

You will see how you need to be more intentional and more vertical in your movement, you are using gravity and the floor in a smarter way, you accelerate on the way down, when it's easier, and work smarter on the way up, when the rope is heavier.

You start pumping with your legs, and moving your hips up and down, you know where your center of mass is and you move it accordingly to be in a stronger position related to the rope, and you just see how it happens, the extra challenge makes your body organize itself in a smarter way.

In the video, you can see that if you don't hit the floor, that is the perfect work for feeling and keeping tension constant when rolling.
